This necklace was inspired by this mid-16th Century portrait of a woman and child by Giovanni Maria Butteri (

It features golden filigree beads alternating with glass black pearls.  The pendant is a genuine carnelian cabochon with a glass pearl. 

Measures 16" with a 3" extension chain. The pendant measures about 2" long.
